Description of project
To prepare an outcomes based syllabus for secondary teachers and students in coast and marine education to be submitted for accreditation to the Queensland Studies Authority in 2005.
To collect and obtain permissions from school principals for sample units of teachers work for publication on the Marine Teachers Association of Queensland web site.
To design and implement a members web site to allow administration functions for the following:
a. 10 regional branch reps to access reports on branch members emails, addresses, who wanted hard copy newsletters and current financial status
b. 2 conference convenor members to access names and addresses of all members in the association as well as current financial status for conference registration processes
c. 3 administrators to allow updating of finances, addresses, branch details, organisation details, curriculum exchange documentation and email reporting
d. 2 forum moderators to allow forum management
e. 2 news editors to allow posting of newsletter, email news and current events including photos
f. 1 web administrator to manager the codes, copyright and intellectual property
